Dimitri de Perrot: MYOUSIC

Where is a sound when we can no longer hear it? Sounds come and go, recede and fade. But why do we collect what in the end we cannot keep? MYOUSIC explores the possibilities of a production in which the key role is played by sound itself.
Dimitri de Perrot works with materials that performers have self-evidently at hand: the sounds of quiet concentration, the relics of former productions, sounds, noises, the silence of the audience.
Like every performer, Perrot has established a special relationship with the audience over the years: they spend many a night together in the curious world of spotlights, where almost nothing can be seen, from the stage, of those who watch from the auditorium. By contrast, a lot can be heard and felt. Dimitri de Perrot calls this relationship literally awkward, sometimes unpleasant, but always inspiring and conducive to creativity.

The performance is not recommended for audiences under the age of 12.
