Viktória Vizin (voice) and Jazzical Trio

Highly versatile and eager to experiment with different forms of performing art, mezzo-soprano singer Viktória Vizin is an internationally renowned performer of Wagner roles, of Judit in Bluebeard’s Castle and Carmen. The singer, who lives in the United States, joined Jazzical Trio for a special project, which fuses modern classical music with jazz.
Internationally acknowledged pianist Norbert Káel and his partners pair the extremely colourful chords and rhythmic solutions of Bartók’s ballet with the elements of jazz. The composition takes the form of a cycle that consists of two longer and eight shorter movements, in an order that follows the story of The Wooden Prince.
